What to do if you have received a letter alleging someone has used your internet connection to download copyright protected material.



We receive enquiries from members of the public who are alleged to have infringed copyright. Letters are sent to internet account holders on behalf of copyright owners, alleging a download or upload of copyright protected content on their account without payment. This guidance will help you if you receive such a letter.
