List of medical facilities in Lebanon

The following list of medical facilities/practitioners has been prepared by the British Embassy Beirut for the convenience of British Nationals who may require these services and assistance in Lebanon. It is provided on the understanding that we the British Embassy do not assume or undertake any legal responsibility, to you, or those affected, if you choose to take it into account when instructing a medical facility or practitioner.

Further and alternatively, we cannot accept any liability to any person or company for any financial loss or damage arising from the use of this information or from any failure to give information.

Our aim is to provide our customers with as much relevant information to enable them to make better informed decisions but our lists are not recommendations and should not be treated as such.

2. List of medical facilities/practitioners in Lebanon

This list is in alphabetical order.

2.1 American University of Beirut Hospital (AUBH)

Cairo Street, Clemenceau Tel: +961 (0)1 350000 Website: http://www.aubmc.org This hospital has told us the following Information: • They have English speaking staff • It’s a private facility • They are affiliated to American University Beirut (AUB) • You will need to pay for treatment either yourself or through your medical insurance • Staff speak English, French, Arabic • Family and friends can visit the hospital from 10:00 to 12:00 and from 16:00 to 20:00 and intensive care for 30 mins each morning or afternoon

2.2 Clemenceau Medical Center (CMC)

Hamra, Beirut Tel: +961 (0)1 372888 or 1240 Website: http://www.cmc.com.lb This hospital has told us the following Information: • They have English speaking staff • It’s a private facility • They are affiliatedwith Johns Hopkins Medicine International • You will need to pay prior to treatment either yourself or through your medical insurance • Staff speak English, French, Arabic • Family and friends can visit the hospital from 10:00 to 20:00

2.3 Hotel Dieu de France

2.4 St George Hospital
