Details

The Leadership Targeted Support Fund aims to encourage greater numbers of teachers to reduce their development gaps and gain confidence to move into leadership positions. It gives grant funding to schools to provide leadership programmes in areas or types of school where it has traditionally been difficult to recruit (for example faith and special schools, primary, coastal and small schools).

All participants from the 2015 to 2016 programmes were asked to complete an online survey during the summer term 2016. The aim of the survey was to gather participant feedback and identify any areas for development. This provides insight as to how well participants feel the programme has helped them develop their confidence and leadership skills and ultimately to achieve next stage promotions.
