This report sets out the review’s recommendations for improving the way the Joint Nature Conservation Committee (JNCC) works. The review was carried out between December 2015 and July 2016.

It looked at whether or not the work JNCC does is necessary, and if it is, whether it is being done in the best way. The report also sets out how the review was carried out.

This review builds upon the 2013 JNCC triennial review.
