John Allen has applied to the Environment Agency for a licence.
The Environment Agency is giving notice of this application in accordance with Section 37 of the Water Resources Act 1991 and Regulation 6 of the Water Resources (Abstraction and Impounding) Regulations 2006.
The application is to vary licence serial number 6/33/47/*S/0245/R01 which authorises the abstraction of water from White Bridge Drain, Larmen’s Drain and unnamed drains within the Southery and District Internal Drainage Board district, Norfolk. Abstraction is authorised from 25 reaches.
The proposal is to increase the annual quantity to 25,000 cubic metres by trading with licence 6/33/47/*S/0238/R01 and abstracting an additional 8,285 cubic metres per year. Additionally, some reaches will be removed, and the following points will be added:
