J&A Woodroffe Farms Limited has applied to the Environment Agency for a licence.
The Environment Agency is giving notice of this application in accordance with Section 37 of the Water Resources Act 1991 and Regulation 6 of the Water Resources (Abstraction and Impounding) Regulations 2006.
The application is for a full licence to abstract water from surface water drains in the Welland and Deepings IDB at the following reaches:
TF 21722 11072 to TF 22317 11330, TF 21653 11220 to TF 22272 11494, TF 21565 11380 to TF 22165 11647, TF 21755 11676 to TF 22061 11799, TF 22033 11866 to TF 22422 12328, TF 22339 11440 to TF 22894 11778, TF 21845 12142 to TF 21970 11961, TF 22122 11743 to TF 22218 11610, TF 22339 11440 to TF 22475 11243, TF 22550 11137 to TF 22621 11039, TF 22745 10858 to TF 22841 10720 and TF 22238 10582 to TF 22743 10827.
The application is to abstract water as follows:

25,000 cubic metres a year

between 1 April and 31 October inclusive in each year.
The water will be used for spray irrigation.
