Details

As part of our review on the subject of the intimidation of Parliamentary candidates, the Committee is publishing a transcript of its public hearing held on 14 September. The witnesses at this evidence session were:

  • Baroness Brinton: President, Liberal Democrat Party

  • Rt Hon Sir Patrick McLoug​h​lin MP: Chair, Conservative Party

  • Ian Lavery MP: Party Chair, Labour Party

The Committee is also publishing the written evidence submitted by the Conservative Party and the Labour Party, and supplementary written evidence submitted by all three parties sent following the public hearing.

We will be publishing evidence from the other political parties as the review progresses.
