International Programme Funds: call for bids

Organisations should submit proposals that promote UK values of democracy, human rights and the rule of law in Eastern Neighbourhood and Central Asia.

The UK is committed to a stable and prosperous Eastern Neighbourhood & Central Asia. We support human rights and civil society; good governance and the rule of law; political, social and economic reforms across the region. The International Programme provides funding for projects that support these themes.

Bid proposal

Organisations are encouraged to submit proposals for projects that promote UK values of democracy, human rights and the rule of law, and advance one or both of the following goals:

  • to build and sustain people-to-people links between the UK and the region (target budget: £100,000)
  • to support civil society and human rights organisations in the region to fulfil their roles in championing human rights and the rule of law (target budget: £500,000)

Please note that all activities would need to be delivered between January and March 2021, and project proposals must take the potential effects of COVID-19 on activities into account.

Preparing and submitting a bid

To submit your application, please complete the following documents and return them by email to EECADProgrammeBidsMailbox@fco.gov.uk by midnight 3 December.

If you have questions about your application, please get in touch by email. Please note that late submissions will not be accepted. Please note that bidding is competitive and we are not obliged to fund any or all proposals received. We will be in touch with successful organisations within one month of the deadline, and provide feedback to unsuccessful organisations within two months.
