Internal temporary storage facilities (ITSFs) codes for Data Element 5/23 of the Customs Declaration Service

Find a list of codes which can be used in Data Element 5/23 to identify the location where the goods may be examined for internal temporary storage facilities (Appendix 16D).

Using the relevant codes from the list, enter the location where the goods are held at the time of making the declaration.

The code for the location to be declared in Data Element 5/23 is shown in column 4.

  1. GBAUDNGEMAFXD1 has been added for Fedex Express UK Ltd in Castle Donington and GBAUFEMLHRCFD2 has been added for Fedex Express UK Ltd in Feltham.

  2. GBAUULNMMETVS has been added for Teeside International Airport.

  3. ITSF code for Pets On The Move (GBAUNCLNCLPET) in Newcastle Airport has been added.

  4. ITSF code for Speedlink (NI) Ltd (GBAUCMLBFSLXS) in Belfast Airport has been added.

  5. One internal temporary storage facilities code (GBAUBELBFSHWS) is no longer in use. One duplicate code (GBAUCVTBHXPME) has also been removed.

  6. Updated to remove the code for DHL Global Match Ltd in Christchurch.

  7. Updated to remove the details for London Southend Airport Company Ltd (GBAUSAASENLZS).

  8. Updated to remove the codes GBAUDONDSARQS for Anglo World Cargo Ltd and GBAUBOHBOHLMS for DHL Global Match Ltd.

  9. ITSF codes have been added for Uniserve Ltd at Norwich Airport and London Southend Airport Company Ltd at Southend Airport.

  10. Addition to ITSF location code for Animal Aircare Ltd at Hounslow.

  11. Details for Fedex Express UK Ltd at Manchester Airport have been added.

  12. Codes have been added for Oceanair Handling at Southampton Airport, Crown Fine Art in London and for Worldwide Flight Services Ltd in Hounslow.

  13. A facility has been added for North West Leicestershire District Council at Castle Donington and another facility has been relisted for Swissport at London Heathrow Airport.

  14. New details have been added for British Airways at London Heathrow Airport.

  15. This page has been updated with additions for Bournemouth International Airport Ltd, Soton Cargo Handling and YA Autotrade.

  16. Additions and amendments have been made at Birmingham Airport, Bournemouth Airport, Coventry, Dover, Edinburgh Airport, London Gatwick and London Heathrow.

  17. Minor outdated guidance has been removed.

  18. This page has been updated to include details for: World Flight Services t/a Dunwoody Airline Services Ltd at George Best Belfast City Airport, Sea Cargo Aberdeen Limited at Aberdeen Harbour, and, DHL Global Match UK Ltd at Bournemouth. Menzies World Cargo Limited at George Best Belfast City Airport has been removed.

  19. Updated to include an additional internal temporary storage facility at Felixstowe for Hemisphere Freight Services Limited.

  20. This page has been updated to add facilities for FedEx Express UK Transportation Limited at Belfast Airport.

  21. Updated to include an additional internal temporary storage facility at Luton Airport for DHL.

  22. This page has been updated to reflect changes for internal temporary storage facilities within the Belfast Airport, East Midland Airport, London Heathrow Airport and Manchester Airport locations.
