Internal Drainage Board levy support grant allocations 2024 to 2025
The purpose of the grant is to provide additional and exceptional funding to the local authorities most affected by increases in Internal Drainage Board levies. This funding follows the £3 million awarded in 2023 to 2024.
Local authorities and Internal Drainage Boards should continue to take action to deliver efficient services and good value for money for the public.
The 15 local authorities in scope have each experienced significant levy increases across 2023 to 2024 and 2024 to 2025.
