1. Why learn with us?
The Intellectual Property Office (IPO) can help businesses, innovators and entrepreneurs understand how intellectual property (IP) can create value from their ideas, turning inspiration into sustainable business success.
Our new one-day CPD accredited workshop has been designed for business owners, inventors, product designers, business coaches, accountants, university lecturers and those with the responsibility for managing an IP portfolio to learn about IP from the IPO Business Engagement Team gaining an understanding of IP and how it can impact a business.
You will learn about:
· protecting and defending your own IP – at home and abroad
· understanding other people’s IP and how to avoid trouble
· trade secrets and confidentiality
The workshop will be informative with a booklet provided and it will be engaging and interactive, bringing IP to life through presentations, case studies, quizzes and exercises.
