Details

This guidance is for providers and installers of domestic chargepoints. It outlines the process by which the Electric Vehicle Homecharge Scheme grant is claimed on behalf of the homeowner.

  1. Clarified guidance around customer eligibility, vehicle leases, parking and how to make enquiries. Added Competent Persons Scheme operator guidance. Updated all 'OLEV' instances to 'OZEV' following name change.

  2. EVHS guidance has been updated. This version includes administrative changes to make it easier to submit grant claims, to apply to become an authorised installer or installer representative, and for manufacturers to have their chargepoints approved by OLEV.

  3. The guidance has been revised to reflect changes to the grant rate from £500 to £350, and to include larger electric motorbikes. The changes are effective from 1st April 2020.
