Your request has been dealt with under the Freedom of Information Act 2000 (FOIA).”

I can confirm the Insolvency Service holds some of this information as outlined in the attached annex.

Some of this is exempt information under Section 43(2) and under Section 40(2) of the FOIA.

Contact details are exempt from disclosure under section 40(2) of the FOIA, because it constitutes personal data. Personal data can only be released if to do so would not contravene any of the data protection principles set out in Article 5(1) of the General Data Protection Regulation and Data Protection Act 2018. This is an absolute exemption and does not require a public interest test.

The answer to question 9 “Application(s) running on PBX/VOIP systems: Applications that run on the actual PBX or VOIP system. E.g. Contact Centre” is exempt under Section 43(2) of the Act as its disclosure under this Act would, or would be likely to, prejudice the commercial interests of any person (including the public authority holding it). In order to apply this exemption, I have undertaken a public interest test and I am satisfied that it is not appropriate to disclose the information requested at question 9 of your request.

Doing so will likely prejudice the supplier’s commercially sensitive information provided in their proposals to the Insolvency Service during the tendering process.

Below are further answers to the questions not included in the attached annex.

  1. Hardware Brand: The primary hardware brand of the organisation’s telephone system. N/A

  2. Number of telephone users: - Teams Telephony x 2,107

  3. Telephone System Type: PBX, VOIP, Lync etc – Anywhere 365 with Teams
