Letter confirming an exemption between Paddington and Heathrow from the requirements of the Control Command and Signalling National Technical Specification Notices, due to the implementation of an innovative solution.

The exemption concerns the transition from a level 2/3 area to a level National Train Control (NTC) area on a track.

The letter is published as part of the requirements in the Railways (Interoperability) Regulations 2011.
