This guidance is for grants provided in the academic year 2025 to 2026. Initial teacher training reform funding guidance: 2024 to 2025 covers grants provided in 2024 to 2025.
Providers and schools can apply for funding to support ITT delivery.
This funding is to support with:
- the set-up cost of ITT courses
- establishing the new lead mentor role
- creating and delivering intensive training and practice
- the cost to train general mentors
