Details

The initial teacher training and early career framework (ITTECF) for international qualified teacher status (iQTS) is for accredited English initial teacher training (ITT) providers to teach trainees learning outside of England.

Candidates who successfully complete the iQTS training programme will automatically gain English QTS.

The ITTECF must be used in its entirety for iQTS.

This framework is based on the ITTECF for ITT in England with updates to reflect its use for international qualified teacher status. None of the original content has been amended.
