- Criteria for the count of the number of families: ‘Room type’ of ‘Family’ and a detention centre of either Cedars pre-departure accommodation, Tinsley House (Family Unit) or Yarl’s Wood (Family Unit)
- A small number of family cases were removed via short term holding facilities which are not included in table above
- Figures rounded to the nearest 5 ( - = 0, * = 1 or 2) and may not sum to the totals shown because of independent rounding.
3.In total 320 family members were removed and 410 were released or transferred to criminal detention.
