Independent adjudicators

Updated 30 January 2024

The independent adjudicators investigate complaints about delay, discourtesy, mistakes and the way these complaints have been handled by us.

The adjudicators will also review written appeals against the levying of late filing penalties, although as Parliament has specified what the Registrar of Companies can do, discretion is very limited. The adjudicators are not part of Companies House and remain totally impartial.
