Details

The Project Initiation Routemap was developed by the Infrastructure and Projects Authority (IPA) in collaboration with industry and academics from the University of Leeds and the Infrastructure Client Group.

It is intended to provide a valuable tool for public and private sector infrastructure providers when setting up projects and programmes.

The Routemap is supported by a consultancy framework to expand its ongoing work. Our partners are Costain, Ernst & Young, PwC, Routemap Ltd, and Turner & Townsend.

The framework supplements the existing expertise and capacity within the IPA. It also enables the Routemap to be applied to a broader range of major projects, including internationally.

For more information on the Routemap, email routemap@ipa.gov.uk.

For more information about the IPA’s tools and assurance that support major projects, refer to the IPA assurance toolkit.
