Details

The Independent Medical Expert Group was set up on the recommendation of Lord Boyce’s review of the Armed Forces Compensation Scheme (AFCS) to advise ministers on medical aspects of the scheme. The following topics are addressed in the report, with recommendations:

  • topic 1: hearing loss
  • topic 2: traumatic Injury to genitalia (male and female)
  • topic 3: non freezing cold injury
  • topic 4: paired injuries
  • topic 5: brain injury
  • topic 6: spinal injury
  • topic 7: mental health disorders
