Identity: drivers of change

Report examining what the main 'drivers of change' are for identity.

This report looks at the way in which socio-political identities in Britain are driven by generational, life-cycle and historical factors. It focuses on:

  • religious identity and church attendance
  • party identification and party support
  • class identification and class voting
  • other alternative identities and value-orientations

This review was commissioned as part of the Foresight project on the future of identity in the UK.
