Between Pymoor and Welney Wildfowl and Wetland Trust Site

Published 28 July 2016

This notice was withdrawn on

This notice is no longer in force.

When: until further notice

What’s happening:

Please be advised that the Hundred Foot, New Bedford Tidal River between Pymoor and Welney Wildfowl and Wetland Trust Site (as shown on plan below) has debris and a degree of tree encroachment into the navigation channel, this may be an issue for larger craft navigating this reach of river and may become more prevalent on certain levels of the tide.

Please navigate the area with caution, keeping a good look out and as far as possible staying to the middle of the channel.

We strongly advise on speaking with Denver Lock on 01366 382340 before embarking on a passage of this section of river to get up to date tidal windows and any latest advice. Requests have been placed to undertake debris removal and bushing works to the channel in the area and will follow in due course.
