Details

The HS2 economic case (West Midlands to Crewe) feeds into the West Midlands to Crewe strategic outline business case.

It presents an update to the case for the full network (Phase One and Phase Two), the case for accelerating the West Midlands to Crewe section and the case for the West Midlands to Crewe section as an increment on the Phase One scheme.

It also shows how the case for HS2 is robust to a number of alternative scenarios. This is supported by a suite of more detailed modelling documents.
