How providers of full-time online education can join the Department for Education's online education accreditation scheme.

This guidance for:
- providers of education that are planning to join the DfE online education accreditation scheme
- commissioners of online education
- Ofsted inspectors
It may also be useful to parents of pupils receiving a full-time online education who are not being educated in schools.
The guidance includes information on:
- the requirements of the scheme
- how the scheme works in practice
- circumstances in which the use of full-time online education might be appropriate
- legislation that may apply to online education providers
It should be used alongside the guidance on meeting the Online Education Standards.
Providers wishing to join the scheme can now submit an application for accreditation.
