The honours system rewards outstanding achievement by individuals in their field of expertise.
The Science and Technology Honours Committee considers nominations from the fields of science, technology, engineering, mathematics and medical research, as well as economic and social sciences.
When to nominate
Nominations for honours can be submitted at any time.
To be considered for the New Year round, nominations must be received by early May. For the Queen’s Birthday round, nominations must be received by early October.
Nominations will be automatically put forward for consideration at the next available round.
How to nominate

- read the guidance provided and follow the detailed instructions
- make sure that you have the 2 letters of support required for each nomination
- submit your nomination
