We have received a request under the Freedom of Information Act 2000 for the following:
‘We act upon behalf of our above named clients who are purchasing the above property which is located immediately adjacent to your site at Sandridge.
Our Environmental Report has disclosed the existence of a telecommunications mast which we understand makes and receives radio frequency signals for telephony throughout the day and night.
Our clients are concerned with the health ramifications of their new property being in close proximity to this telecommunications mast. Can you therefore please forward to us what we presume to be appropriate Home Office literature advising as to the potential health risk of being located within the vicinity of the telecommunications mast. Furthermore can you please provide us with any appropriate evidence, scientific or otherwise, as to the possible health ramifications of the telecommunications mast upon individuals living in close proximity.
This is a matter of some urgency and we therefore await hearing from you by return.’
