A letter from the Economic Secretary to the Treasury to the chair of the Treasury Select Committee in response to the committee’s report on conduct and competition in SME lending.

This response specifically addresses the committee’s recommendation that the Treasury “should publish an assessment of the feasibility, benefits and costs of adjusting the perimeter of regulation to cover loans with features of interest rate hedging products”.
