This is the first annual report of H.M. Inspectorate of Court Administration previously the Magistrates’ Courts Service Inspectorate (also known as MCSI), and is now part of Her Majesty’s Inspectorate of Court Administration (HMICA) with effect from 1 April 2005.

This paper was laid before Parliament in response to a legislative requirement or as a Return to an Address and was ordered to be printed by the House of Commons.
