  1. £580 represents full cost recovery of accepting, processing and deciding an application from a first-time hemp grower, and issuing the licence. There is no application fee.

  2. Hemp is the only crop falling under the Home Office licensing regime. Other crops may be subject to other licensing or regulatory regimes about which we cannot comment.
