Help to Grow: Digital was a government scheme that aimed to boost technology adoption and productivity levels in small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).
The programme consisted of:
- an online learning and advice website offering guidance and tools to help SMEs understand the potential of digital technology in aiding their business growth and increasing productivity
- a digital technology voucher which provided a discount, capped at £5,000 to match a maximum of 50% of the cost of new software for SMEs for up to 12 months
The evaluation findings produce evidence on the:
- impacts of SMEs who participated in Help to Grow: Digital
- reasons for some SMEs not participating in the programme
- lessons learnt on the scheme design, implementation and administration
