Details

This agreement aims to ensure that acts of criminality within prisons are properly addressed.

It covers crimes committed in prison by:

  • prisoners
  • staff
  • social and professional visitors
  • contractors

It applies to all prison and YOI (Young Offender Institution) establishments and to Immigration Removal Centres (IRCs) operated by HMPPS.
