Hall Hunter Partnership (Farming) has applied to the Environment Agency for a licence.

The Environment Agency is giving notice of this application in accordance with Section 37 of the Water Resources Act 1991 and Regulation 6 of the Water Resources (Abstraction and Impounding) Regulations 2006.

The application is for a full licence to abstract water from the River Thame Between National Grid References SU 58908 95310 and SU 59534 95510.

The application is to abstract water as follows:

  • 221 cubic metres an hour

  • 5,298 cubic metres a day

  • 577,529 cubic metres a year

  • between 1 April and 31 March inclusive in each year.

For the purposes of filling two reservoirs for trickle irrigation and frost protection irrigation.
