Guidance letter issued by Vince Cable, Secretary of State for Business, Innovation and Skills and David Willetts, Minister for Universities and Science. Sets out their expectations on how the Director of Fair Access should approach the approval and monitoring of new access agreements for higher education (HE) institutions wishing to charge more than £6,000. The agreement will show how each HE institution will use a proportion of the income from student contributions to increase access from under-represented groups.
