The UK National Contact Point (NCP) for the Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) Guidelines for Multinational Enterprises (the Guidelines), received a complaint about Drax Group PLC, a UK-based energy company.
The complaint was submitted with support of The Lifescape Project, The Partnership for Policy Integrity, The Royal Society for the Protection of Birds, Biofuelwatch, Save Estonia’s Forests, and Conservation North.
The UK NCP is responsible for the Initial Assessment for the complaint as it related Drax Group PLC, as it is a UK-headquartered company, and qualifies as a multinational enterprise, given its supply chain operations across North America and Europe, including Canada, Estonia, and the US.
