We were asked:

  1. The number of civil servants/officials who receive government procurement cards/credit cards as part of their duties.
  2. What was the total amount spent by those with procurement cards during the financial year 2010-11.
  3. A breakdown of spending on the cards.
  4. Whether any civil servants/officials have been discovered misusing the cards and if so, how many.

The Information is as follows.

  1. The Wales Office has eleven civil servants who have the use of government procurement/credit cards.
  2. and 3. Please see Government procurement cards: statements, April 2010 to March 2011
  3. No civil servants/officials have been found misusing the cards.
