Outlines the scope, nature and depth of UK-Africa educational partnerships. Reflects discussions with individuals involved in such partnerships, the findings from a 2008 survey, a literature review on partnerships in education; and desk research. Identifies principles of management and good governance which have been the driver behind a number of successful and sustainable UK-Africa partnerships, to inform future partnerships.
