Gavin Mason has applied to the Environment Agency for a licence.
The Environment Agency is giving notice of this application in accordance with Section 37 of the Water Resources Act 1991 and Regulation 6 of the Water Resources (Abstraction and Impounding) Regulations 2006.
The application is to vary licence serial number 08/088 which authorises the abstraction of water from underground strata comprising of London Tertiaries at National Grid Reference TR 13782 64637 near Chestfield, Whitstable.
The variation applied for is to increase the authorised abstraction quantities to 19,000 cubic metres per year, 90 cubic metres per day and 6 cubic metres per hour at an instantaneous rate not exceeding 1.7 litres per second.
