We have a received a request under the Freedom of Information Act 2000 for the following:
’ In order to fully understand the implications of the response, would I be correct in assuming that since you have confirmed the requirements for the Gatso to face a straight section of road as per ACPO Guidelines, any prosecution of alleged offenders who were “caught” by a camera on a bend would have serious doubt cast on the validity of the speed readings from such a camera?’
