The Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) is commencing an internal review process, to inform future structure and objectives for its work after completion of the Fifth Assessment Report (AR5) in October 2014. Along with other member countries, the UK has been invited to make suggestions about the scope and timescale of this review.
The UK Government response has been returned to the IPCC.

The IPCC will begin consideration of its future development at its 37th Session, in October 2013
