This report investigates how the risks of flooding might change in the Taihu Basin area of China over the next 50 years. It considers the best options for government and other stakeholders for responding to the future challenges.
This project was commissioned following a visit to China by members of the Foresight ‘Flood and coastal defence’ project team in 2005. It was a joint project, with a UK team providing expert assistance to Chinese colleagues.
