In response to a request under the Freedom of Information Act 2000 about funding Independent Domestic Violence Advisers (IDVA). Magnitude of funding cuts and specific details of local authorities affected.
We released the following information on 28 July 2011.
Over 350 applications for funding were received and of these over half were successful. The Home Office’s budget for England and Wales is £3.3m per year until 2014-15. A list of the successful IDVA and Multi-Agency Risk Assessment Conference (MARAC) bids can be found on the Home Office website -
