We have received a request under the Freedom of Information Act 2000 for the following:
Funding for Asylum and Failed Asylum Seekers
Does the government fund all services and facilities including housing benefits etc provided by Local Authorities using Local Council taxes?
If the government pays for everything through direct taxation how is the money passed to local councils?
