Details
This study was commissioned in October 2010 to evaluate foundation learning (FL). The main elements of the evaluation took place over a 5-month period from November 2010, with final reporting completed in April 2011.
The main objectives of the foundation learning evaluation are:
- understanding how it is being implemented locally
- providing an assessment of views of foundation learning amongst learners, practitioners and employers
- gathering evidence on the outcomes for young people who are undertaking it
