This was published under the 2010 to 2015 Conservative and Liberal Democrat coalition government

The OECD Guidelines National Contact Point process offers mediation to multinational companies and people who have made complaints against them. Using this process, the International Union of Food, Agricultural, Hotel, Restaurant, Catering, Tobacco and Allied Workers’ Associations (IUF) and Unilever plc reached an agreement in 2010 about actions to remedy a complaint the union had made about the company’s factory in Doom Dooma, Assam, India.

This report describes how the agreed actions were delivered between 2010 and 2013.
