This document is a mock up of a flood risk management plan strategic environmental assessment scoping report and a draft flood risk management plan. It is part of a suite of guidance to help risk management authorities to prepare their flood risk management plans.

The production of flood risk management plans is part of a 6 year cycle of planning that the Environment Agency and lead local flood authorities must follow as set out in the Flood Risk Regulations 2009.
