We have received a request under the Freedom of Information Act 2000 for the following:
Figures for the amount paid to interpreters for applicants who have applied for indefinite leave to remain (ILR) where there is requirement to have an English language test or to speak the English language.
We released the following information on 23 April 2012.
The cost for the period until February 2012 was £1,263.00. For the full financial year 2011/2012, the cost of providing interpreters for such applications was £1,612.00.
