Baroness Batters’ review provides a comprehensive assessment of the issues underpinning farm business profitability and sets out recommendations spanning the short, medium and long term.

Together, these recommendations offer a coherent framework for how government and industry can work in partnership to deliver a more profitable, sustainable farming system.

The report puts forward 57 recommendations, to specifically provide input to the:

• Food Strategy
• Farming Roadmap
• Land Use Framework

This is alongside wider government missions and priorities, including economic growth.
