These evidence packs bring together a range of existing statistics and evidence to summarise the current state of the agriculture industry. To improve navigation and allow more timely and transparent updating they are now divided into 3 separate slide packs:
Agriculture in the United Kingdom Evidence Pack
Provides an overview of the current state of agriculture in the UK. It presents a wide range of data covering farm structures, land use, incomes, prices, production of key commodities, overseas trade, the food chain and the environment.
Farm Performance and Productivity Evidence Pack
Presents detailed analysis based on data from the Farm Business Survey on farm performance and productivity.
Environmental Land Management Evidence Pack
Presents details of the environmental opportunities and challenges to agriculture and how Environmental Land Management schemes could be used to deliver public goods and services.
These evidence packs have adopted voluntary application of the Code of Practice for Statistics.
The content was previously presented as a single document known as the Future Farming and Environment Evidence Compendium.
