This  is the government’s response to the independent review of family justice in England and Wales. The final report of the independent family justice review, which was chaired by David Norgrove, was published on 3 November 2011.

The Government is accepting the majority of the review’s recommendations, in full.

Taken together, the Government’s plans will help strengthen parenting, reduce the time it takes cases to progress through the courts and simplify the family justice system.
