We are seeking expressions of interest from eligible UK research organisations and consortia interested in hosting a new heterogeneous AI supercomputer as part of the AI Research Resource (AIRR).
The £750 million investment will expand the UK’s national AI infrastructure, combining established and novel AI hardware to support frontier AI research, large-scale inference workloads and scientific discovery.
We are looking for organisations with the infrastructure, expertise and capability to deliver and operate a secure, resilient national compute service that will strengthen the UK’s sovereign AI capability and support researchers, businesses and public sector users across the UK.
